1950s White Nylon Dress with Vibrant Floral Print

This true vintage 1950s dress is tailored from an unusually textured nylon which is crisp, structured and holds it shape well. It is printed with vibrant daisies in red, white, blue and coral with bright yellow centres, set against a white background. It has a classic 1950s silhouette with a fitted bust, nipped-in waist and a full, swirling skirt. The bust is gathered and there are short cap-sleeves with turned-up cuffs. It is lined with white satin throughout for a luxurious, comfortable wear and fastens with a hidden tonal zip under the left arm.

In excellent vintage condition with no issues; it is a well made piece although only a small sizing label remains in the dress denoting a British size 38. In modern sizing this roughly translates as a UK size 10 or US 6. The fabric has no stretch so please check the measurements below to ensure a good fit - it does have plenty of give in the hip.
