1960s Cresta Couture Turquoise Embellished Wiggle Dress

1960s embellished dress from quality British label Cresta Couture. It is tailored to a form-fitting wiggle silhouette from a turquoise shot-silk blend which is very textured. The neckline is raised at the front and there are thick straps which give way to a curved, lower back. Above the waistband - which forms a gentle basque shape at the front - the fabric is embellished. Fluffy woollen threads form flowers, twisting vines and leaves in palest blue, detailed with glistening rhinestones and tiny see-through beads. The skirt has a pencil silhouette and falls to below the knee. The dress is lined in grey-blue satin. It fastens at the centre back with a hidden tonal zip and a hook-and-eye clasp.

The condition of the dress is very good to excellent with no issues. The fabric has no stretch and our model's sizes are: Bust: 33" (84cm), Waist 26" (66cm), Hips: 34" (86cm) and 5' 7" (170cm). She's a size UK 6, US 2 and this was a snug fit.
