1920s French Filigree Buckle and Black Fabric Belt
Description
1920s - 1930s but conceivably much earlier, black fabric and gold filigree style belt. Featuring a black crepe waistband which has been set atop a stronger woven fabric and machine stitched in close-set horizontal bands. The brass belt buckle is stamped "Paris" on the hook fastening and "LW Paris, Made in France", on the sliders to the reverse of each buckle. The design of the buckle is arranged in two oval pieces which are joined with a central clasp - both feature intricate metalwork with a lovely floral filigree design.

MEASUREMENTS:
LENGTH LYING FLAT - 26in. ( 36.8 cm )
WIDTH - 1.5in. ( 6.3 cm )
BUCKLE HEIGHT: 2.5 in. ( 6.35 cm )
