Description
This teddy slip was made in the 1940s and displays many signature details of the era’s lingerie. It has the coveted war time CC41 label and is tailored from cream satin with coordinating spaghetti straps. It has a nipped-in, inverted empire waist and highly flattering bias cut. A chance to put a twist on the slip-dress trend, the modesty-protecting shorts make this a piece you’ll want to wear outside of the bedroom. Edged in cream lace trim accented with delicate pink and blue flower and bow embroidery along the neckline and bottom hem. Fastens with two pearlescent buttons at the gusset. This all-in-one is in excellent vintage condition - it looks unworn save for over-so slightly-frayed lace which adds to the soft, ethereal appeal. Will fit a range of sizes due to the bias cut from UK 8-12 or US 4-8.
