1950s Black Circle Skirt With Monochrome Applique
Description
This beautiful 1950s full black cotton circle skirt with monochrome pleated applique hem is unique and feminine with a contemporary feel. It flares from the waistband in a series of panels that meet the hem at a zig zag seam level with the mid calf. The appliqué detail follows the hemline and is arranged in fan shaped motifs fashioned from ruffled fabric in black, monochrome stripe and white to create a bold textured design. The full cut of the skirt combined with the weight of the appliqué excites a lovely movement when worn. The skirt is unlined with a concealed zip fastening to the left of the hip. In immaculate condition and perfect for dancing, would best suit a US size 2-4, UK size 6-8. Unlabelled but high quality production.
