1992 Runway Yves Saint Laurent Tartan Wool Jacket
Description
Documented Yves Saint Laurent tartan woolen jacket from the autumn / winter 1992 Ready to Wear Runway Show and model on the catwalk by Betty Prado.
Oversized fit and made from a soft, knitted 100% lamb wool, it features an unusual black fringe detail along the seam of its yoke, the pockets and at the bottom of the cuff and hem. The tartan pattern features a juxtaposition of bright primary and tertiary colors alongside white and black for stark and classic contrast in the design. An eye catching bright blue ribbing lines the jacket around the collar, the opening, the pockets and hem line. Labelled a French 34, this is a generously proportioned and will fit sizes up to a US 8 or UK 12. Immaculate vintage condition, this looks unworn and came from the wardrobe of an European aristocrat.
