Roland Mouret Metallic Silk Evening Coat, UK10

A glamorous evening coat in metallic silver / gold silk by Roland Mouret.

It has a straight neck with plain front opening, which can be worn closed or folded back.  lovely shoulder and pocket detailing.  Long sleeves, with unfinished seams, straight fitting to knee length. Fastening with one hook and eye at the waist and a matching tie belt.  Unlined.

The material is stiff yet fine to the point of being almost translucent, with a slight slub and wonderful sheen.  The colour is almost indescribable: somewhere between silver, green and gold.
