1960s Elizabeth Heyes Black Chiffon Negligee with Lace Trim

Elisabeth Hayes was a London-based label which sold brightly coloured, whimsical nightgowns, peignoirs and slips in the 1960s and 1970s. This negligee is crafted from inky black chiffon to a relaxed, ankle-length cut. It is unlined and has a sensuous peekaboo finish. The front is open and ties solely at the neck with a black ribbon. The curved neckline, fluttering cuffs and bottom hem are decadently trimmed with tonal black lace. The original label reads “Elisabeth Hayes London” and states that the piece is made from “Bri-Nylon”.

In excellent vintage condition with no flaws of any note. It has no size label and due to the tie opening will fit a wide range of sizes from a UK 8, US 4 through to a UK 14 or US 10.
