Description
Dating to the late 1960s, these Pucci leggings are as vibrant as the day they were made. In eye-catching turquoise blue with that signature psychedelic Pucci print with florals in shades of purple, blue and green running down the legs - note the ‘Emilio’ signature printed among the florals. They have a high-waist cut and panelled construction. The original blue-and-white label reads ‘Emilio Pucci Florence Italy’ and ‘100% Helanca’ - an Italian stretch fabric with a nylon base. A good fit for up to a UK 8-10 or US 4-6. Very good vintage condition and a rare survivor from the period. Excellent vintage condition and a rare survivor from the period; very fresh looking. We have another similar pair in one of our other listings.

Highly collectible due to their adaptable and wearable nature - try layering them under a sheer gown or just add your favourite oversized vintage shirt. We have attached some historical editorial shots of Pucci leggings from the same era. Noble Italian designer Emilio Pucci was credited with designing the first slim fitting cropped trousers for women, more commonly known as Capri pants and was the first to create luxury athleisure for the glitterati. Notable clients included Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren and Jaqueline Kennedy.
