1970s Kenrose Leopard Print Belted Dress
Description
This dress was made by dress manufacturing company Kenrose in the late 1960s to early 1970s. It showcases a flamboyant leopard print on thick, textured rayon which has the look and feel of high quality linen. It is tailored to a laid-back, sleeveless style with the wide lapels of the open-collar neckline adding to that hint of rock-and-roll edge. The polished, black plastic buttons fall to just below the waist - allowing the wearer to make it as revealing as they wish. The waist can be cinched by a coordinating rope belt that is not attached. This dress is unlined. The original label reads “Kenrose - Made in the Republic of Ireland.”
In excellent vintage condition, so good in fact this could be 'deadstock' but without the labels; it was bought with other 60s/70s dresses which did have store tags attached. Marked a size 12 please check our measurements below as the dress has no stretch. We think a good fit for a modern UK 10-12 or US 6-8.
