Description

This chic Prada dress walked the runway for the brand's Spring 2009 show and was Look 26. Crafted from a sculptural metal-cotton mix, it holds the highly tactile crinkled texture that made up many of the collection's key looks. Many critics site this as one of Miuccia's best runway shows in the last 20 years and key pieces are rare to market.

One of the more striking looks, the mid length dress is printed with a detailed red and grey snakeskin pattern, which stands out contrasted against the black and white striped panels at the side. Displaying the cerebral features that are Miuccia Prada's trademark, note the twisted cut of the side slit and the large grosgrain ties that secure it and form big bows up to the shoulder.

This dress is in flawless vintage condition and still has the tags attached - we love it styled like the runway with towering monochrome heels. The little white bag contains what we believe is a spare popper fastening, a row of which is artfully concealed on the side of the dress and helps with access - the bag is sealed so we have left unopened. Labelled an Italian 42, the dress is best suited to sizes UK 8-10 or US 4-6.
