2007 Prada 1940s-style Plum Crepe Dress

This elegant Prada gown displays all the elevated, feminine trademarks that have become a part of Miuccia Prada’s signature style. Designed in 2007, it is tailored from smooth crepe in a rich, deep plum colourway. Tailored to a 1940s tea-dress shape, the cloth has a fantastic drape and flatteringly skims the curves of the body. It has short-sleeves and a decollétage-revealing V-neckline. The waist is lightly tailored and the skirt falls to the mid-calf with several soft pleats adding movement. At the side of the bust, plum crepe wraps around the edge of the sleeves - a detail typical of the Italian brand’s grown-up take on pretty. This dress is unlined.

In excellent vintage condition with no flaws of any note. It is 57% Acetate, 43% Viscose. The size label states that this is a Italian 46, which equates to a UK 14 or US 10 but sizes vary across brands so please double-check our measurements below. The fabric has no stretch.
