1991 Yves Saint Laurent Green Jacquard Jacket with Gold Buttons

This vibrant Yves Saint Laurent jacket dates back to the Fall 1991 collection and was seen on the runway. Recalling the jackets that Anthony Vaccarello has brought back at the house in recent seasons, now is the time to get yourself the original. The gently quilted jacquard is woven with thistle-like forms in apple green and cobalt blue which pop against a black background. The jacket is collarless with long slim sleeves. The waist is cinched and the bottom hem is detailed with small slits to encourage a peplum silhouette and emphasise the curves of the body. The front of the jacket is finished with decadent gold-toned buttons - a signature of Yves Saint Laurent at this time which are three-dimensional and organically engraved. Lined with black satin.

The jacket is in excellent vintage condition and looks barely worn with no issues. It is labelled a French size 34, UK 6 or US 2. There are no composition labels. Please check our measurements closely below as the fabric has no stretch.
