2008 Resort Prada Silk Floral Box Pleat Maxi Dress

This decadent Prada gown displays all the elevated, feminine trademarks that have become a part of Miuccia Prada’s signature style. From the 2008 Resort collection, this was the first look and styled with towering crimson heels. Tailored from layers of thick cream-beige silk printed with a repeat pattern of chocolate-brown and coral toned flowers, a cinched waist is contrasted against a full skirt with wide box pleating. Soft pleating flows across the bust, falling like a sash across the top and down the skirt. A wide strap in coordinating floral cloth holds up the other shoulder, alongside a black sash which ties in a bow.

A superbly crafted and almost full length dress entirely made of silk - the sheer amount of fabric used is lavish compared to modern equivalents. In fantastic vintage condition, with no flaws of any note. The Prada label is missing; however the composition label is still intact and we estimate a good fit for a UK 12 or US 8. Our model is a UK 8-10 and 5ft 11in (180cm) and this dress was roomy on her. Please also note this dress was pinned.
