1960s Mustard Paisley Silk Short-Sleeve Pleated Dress

This timeless 1960s silk dress is crafted from a smooth silk and printed all-over with a classic paisley design updated for the era in vibrant mustard, aqua and coral-red hues. It has short sleeves and a nipped-in waist. The waistband is neatly 'pipe trimmed' in the same cloth and gives way to a flippy, box pleated skirt that falls to below the knee. The top of the dress is lined in black satin. The back of the dress fastens with the original silver-toned zip and hook-and-eye clasp.

In excellent vintage condition with no issues and the cloth remains very fresh looking. There are no labels present in the dress but this is a very well made bespoke or couture piece using excellent techniques. It has petite measurements and is suitable for a UK 6 or US 2 with a small waist although there is plenty of room in the hip.
