1960s Koupy Couture Blue Floral Silk Dress

This dress is by Koupy Couture and is crafted from silk printed with bright blue and lilac florals. A feminine feature of many 1960s’ designs, a wide V-neckline reveals the collarbones and décolletage. The nipped-in waist and cocooning pleating of the skirt form a tulip silhouette; a shape emphasised by the clever layering at the waist which parts to reveal a bow. This beautiful gown is lined from the waist down and closes at the rear with a hidden zip and single hook-and-eye clasp. The label reads “Koupy Couture - Made in England” and confirms the piece to be pure silk. It is presented in excellent vintage condition with no discernible faults. A best fit for a UK 8-10 or US 4-6. Our model is a UK 6-8 and 5ft 4in. (163cm) and this dress was slightly roomy on her.
