1970s Couture Floral Print Angel Sleeve Maxi Dress

Late 1960s or early 1970s silk chiffon angel sleeve dress with the most magnificent tropical floral print. The elegant neckline has a series of ruching forming the v-neck that crosses over at the collar bone. There is a large floral applique in the centre made from all the colour components of the fabric; greens, pinks, teal and lilac. Without a doubt the highlight of the design is the magnificent full length angel sleeves that fall from the gathered shoulders. The dress is ankle length and fastens to the rear with the original zip. There is lots of hand finishing to the dress and this is couture made in France but alas unlabelled. Fully lined in acetate save for the sleeves.

Beautiful vintage condition and looks very fresh with no issues. Best fit for up to a UK 10 or US 6 and sizes smaller.
