1970s Guy Laroche Couture Coral Red Feather Dress

This incredible red feather dress by Guy Laroche Haute Couture makes the perfect 70s statement piece for any event or party. Cut from a coral red rayon blend, the inner dress has a V neck and gentle sloping cap sleeves. The front is pleated at the waistband and flows down beautifully into a long skirt, fastening down the back with an original concealed zipper. Although stunning when worn by itself, this piece really comes into its own with the addition of the outer dress, which is adorned with a fabulous coral red ostrich feather trim. This dress is made of a mesh like, semi transparent georgette fabric and cut in a trapeze style with batwing style sleeves, and it has great flow and movement. When paired together with some statement earrings and accessories, this piece conveys the glamour of the 70s in a truly unique way.

This piece is in wonderful vintage condition, with no faults or stains to note. The inner dress would best suit a 10-12 UK, or 6-8 US, though the outer is very generously sized due to its trapeze shape. Our model (5ft 11 in / 180 cm) is a UK 8-10, the inner dress fit her well and the outer was roomy.
