Description
This coordinating skirt and jacket was designed by Janet Moira, a short lived fashion boutique in Covent Garden in the late 1970s to early 1980s. It is tailored from soft, pure cotton flannel in a vibrant multi-hued print. A lightweight button-up jacket features D-ring fastenings at the cuffs and waist and is secured at the neck with a button and loop. The patchwork skirt features a thick waistband which cinches the waist and is secured by three tonal buttons. A small crochet-trimmed slit pocket sits on the waistband. The skirt is adorned with ribbons, crochet and patterned beads, which hang from the skirt and swing as the wearer walks. This skirt suit is in great vintage condition - no issues noted and both pieces would work very well as separates. A best fit for a UK size 8-10 or US 4-6.
