Description

Superb quality Lee Jordan of New York all over floral sequinned three quarter length column dress. Lee Jordan made very high end department store occasion wear for the affluent American market from the 1960s through to the 1980s. This dress is most likely from the late 1960s to early 1970s. Rows of wavy iridescent sequins overlay a floral Georgette fabric in a pretty pastel hued combination of pinks, greens and yellow against a cream background. The dress is collared, with a shallow V neck bust line and straight sleeves that are slightly sheer. The dress fastens to the back with the original zip and hook and eyes for the collar. The dress is gently shaped at the bust line and goes on to echo the female curve with slight tapering at the left side seam slit. The fabric belt is retains which echoes the design of the dress.

In great vintage condition - no issues. It is fully lined in an opaque quality acetate and although unlabelled, is absolutely by Lee Jordan as we have an identical copy of this dress in a different colourway that is labelled. Please search our other listings. Best fit for up to a UK 12-14 or US 8-10. Our model (5ft 11 in / 180 cm) is a UK 8-10 and this dress was roomy on her.
