2010s Jenny Packham White and Gold Palette Sequin Maxi Dress
Description
This high octane gown was designed by British designer and occasion-wear specialist Jenny Packham in the early 2010s and was probably part of a bridal or resort collection. Tailored from pale champagne silk with a semi-sheer finish, the silhouette is incredibly flattering, skimming the body and giving way to a graceful train at the back. A high slit in the front for the skirt breaks up the solid construction. The wide neckline adds to the classic elegance, revealing the collarbones. True to Packham’s signature glamorous style, this gown is smothered in iridescent rectangular palette sequins and dotted with rhinestones. Beginning at the right shoulder, these high-shine adornments are masterfully adorned to appear to fade as they cascade down the body, resulting in a glistening mirror ball effect as the wearer moves. It fastens down the side under the left arm with a tonal hidden zip.
The dress is in very good to excellent gently worn condition with no issues of any note. We have carefully reattached any hanging palette sequins and beadwork but a dress like this will always have a very tiny number missing in a few places. The size and composition label have been removed, presumably for comfort. The dress has a tiny bit of stretch on the below measurements. Our model is a UK 6-8 and 5ft 4in (163cm) and this dress was a good fit on her with no room to spare on the hip.
