Description

British jewellery designers Butler & Wilson founded their company in the late 1960s. In 1972, the company opened their iconic flagship store on Fulham Road in London, which remains there to this day. These early 1990s sterling silver earrings feature many of the brand’s highly collectible signature details; blown-up crystals, dramatic designs and Art Deco silhouettes. Sat atop a corrugated pyramid crafted from silver, two large square-cut crystals glisten against the wearer’s lobes. These earrings are clip-on. They are stamped on the reverse with “Nereides for Butler Wilson”, indicating that these earrings were designed by French jewellery label Nereides in collaboration with Butler & Wilson.

These earrings are in very good to excellent vintage condition with no flaws except for some wear to the clasp on the back - not evident when worn. The old rubber comfort pads have been removed but I'm sure you would wish to put your own in or we can supply new if requested.
