It's fair to say this is an eccentric dress by Junya Watanabe, in black silk and lace.
The garment's witty construction is ostensibly that of a classic knee-length shirt dress with beautiful lace inserts, which has been put together off centre so one half is lower than the other. Connected to the dress at the waist is a cropped short sleeved jersey cardigan, which when in place and buttoned up gives the sense of someone having left the house in a hurry and done everything up wrong. An impression strengthened by the unfinished seams and asymmetric hem.
A wonderful, humorous piece; you may find you ave a lot of explaining to do.
