1940s Cold Rayon Floral Print Dress

An original vintage cold rayon 1940s dress in a striking floral and leaf print. The colour combination is a sublime contrast of pastel blue, pink and white against a dusky orange background with a painterly application of brown brush strokes which comprise the leaves and vegetation. The dress has a scoop neck and fitted bodice, gathered flared skirt and side zip fastening. No labels but vey well made by an American dress maker in a neat combination of machine and hand sewing techniques. These dresses are increasingly difficult to get hold of in excellent vintage condition - this dress is absolutely perfect with no issues and will fit up to a UK size 12 or US 8.
