Description

This decadent Chanel charm bracelet was created by the celebrated haute jewellery designer Victoire de Castallane for the French brand in 1996 when Karl Lagerfeld was creative director. Chanel jewellery has become highly collectable, particularly the pieces from this era which feature many of the house's most recognisable design icons.

Plated in pure 23/24 carat gold as Chanel jewellery was at the time, this bracelet is formed from two chunky, interwoven rope chains threaded with six moveable large 'charm' beads. Five of these elaborately detailed beads are finished with glass pearls - two on each bead - alongside raised detailing which recalls Etruscan jewellery, a design reference which gained huge popularity throughout the 19th century. The sixth bead features two of Chanel’s iconic double-C insignias.

This bracelet is secured with a toggle clasp; the bar finished with a circular stamp debossed with the Chanel brand name, 1996 A, the iconic double-C insignia and “Made in France”. This bracelet is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws of any note. There is no wear to the gold and the pearls are not scratched or marked. Please check the below measurements to ensure the best fit.
