Japanese Kimono Silk Bomber Jacket

A truly special, one-of-a-kind bomber jacket, handmade by the Woo Woo team using a vintage Japanese kimono.

The original silk features a striking floral design in rich gold, emerald green, ivory and blue. Large, beautifully embroidered peony-like blooms take centre stage, surrounded by smaller chrysanthemum-style flowers and decorative foliage. In traditional Japanese design, peonies are often associated with beauty, prosperity and good fortune, while chrysanthemums symbolise longevity and renewal.

The vintage kimono has been carefully repurposed into a contemporary bomber jacket, preserving the craftsmanship and character of the original textile while giving it an entirely new life. Each jacket is made to order, so the placement of the pattern makes every piece completely unique.
