1980s Ricki Lang Black Skirt Suit with Silver Encrusted Glitter

This 1980s ensemble was designed by Ricki Lang for Nuit and retailed in the famous San Franciscan luxury department store I.Magnin. Displaying many hallmarks of the era of excess, this skirt and top two-piece is tailored from high quality black jersey and smothered in high-shine silver polka-dots formed from tiny specks of glitter. The glitter polka-dots create a wave-like pattern across the fabric. The top has three-quarter sleeves with padded shoulders, a wide neckline and cut to a louche, relaxed fit. The skirt has an A-line cut and falls to just below the knee. It is high-waisted and elasticated for a comfortable, adjustable fit. Both pieces are unlined.

In excellent vintage condition with no flaws or marks. It has no composition or size labels. The fabric has flexibility on the below measurements and will fit a range of sizes up to a UK 12-14 or US 8-10.
