1970s Gina Fratini White Silk Organza Maxi Skirt and Blouse Set

Lovely and summery 1970s white silk organza set from Gina Fratini consisting of a maxi skirt and short-sleeved blouse. The set also comes with a little camisole to wear under the blouse and the skirt is fully lined. The set features pretty pin tucking and frill details and can be worn together or separately. With little covered buttons to fasten at the back of the blouse this is a really pretty ensemble for any occasion. Would make a perfect bridal ensemble as all pieces are in excellent vintage condition with no faults to note. Would fit up to US size 8, UK Size 12.

NOTES ON THE DESIGNER :

Gina Fratini was a British designer renowned during the 1970s and early 80s for her romantic gowns which were of elaborate construction. She was a favourite of Princess Diana who were her designs on several state occasions. Elizabeth Taylor famously chose a medieval style Gina Fratini gown for her second marriage to Richard Burton.
