1970s Crissa Black Jersey Knit Wool Ribbed Maxi Dress

This sensational 1970s black jersey knit wool ribbed maxi dress is by Italian design house Crissa Linea Italiana and is in pristine vintage condition with some lovely details. The dress is a classic style for the era with the jersey stretch fabric following the line of the figure into a floor length A - Line skirt. There is a gentle scoop neckline and a pretty ruffle detail at the waist and on the long cuffs. Stripes of varying sizes in coral, turquoise, sugar pink and moss green feature on the neckline, cuffs and waistline in contrast with the black to accentuate the feminine line of the piece. There is a central zip fastening at the reverse of the dress. This is a striking and exceptional piece of winter wear and would suit a range of sizes from US size 4-8, UK 8-12 due to the stretch quality of the fabric.
