1990s Thierry Mugler Midnight Blue Couture Silk Dress

This Thierry Mugler cocktail dress from the 1990s in midnight blue silk is beautifully made and in excellent vintage condition with gentle signs of use. The dress exemplifies the designers innovative approach and is made up of long strips of silk which part in the knee length skirt to reveal a chiffon underlay, exciting a lovely movement to the piece.  It features large scattered rhinestones on the skirt, spaghetti straps and a nude internal boned bodice for extra support. There is a concealed zip fastening to the side. Labelled a French 38, this dress is notably petite and would suit US size 2-4 or UK size 6-8. Our model is this size and this fit her well. She is 5'4'.
