1990s Tatters White Tulle Ribbonwork Column Dress with Sequins
Description
This romantic wedding dress was designed in the early 1990s by Tatters, a high-end London boutique that was located on the famous Kings Road in Chelsea and made bespoke designs. Crafted from white tulle to a long, body-fitting silhouette with a sensuous slit at the back of the skirt. It has a flattering rounded neckline - trimmed with satin - that reveals the décolletage. The fabric is incredibly detailed up-close. Lace has been appliquéd across the length of the dress and down the long, slim sleeves, detailed further with tiny tonal roses formed from grosgrain ribbon and glistening iridescent sequins. The cuffs are also trimmed in satin. The dress is lined in satin throughout. It fastens at the back of the neck with a hidden tonal zip and hook-and-eye clasp.
In truly excellent vintage condition with no issues of any note. Due to being bespoke made, it has no composition or size labels and the fabric has no stretch. Please check our measurements below. Our model's sizes are: Bust: 33" (84cm), Waist: 26" (66cm), Hips: 34" (86cm) and Height: 5' 7" (170cm). She's a size UK 6, US 2 and this fit her well with room to spare up to the next size.
