1990s Thierry Mugler Couture Brown Abstract Print Jacket

Fall 2001 Manfred Thierry Mugler bronze iridescent jacket. Characteristic of the designer's desire to accentuate and exaggerate the female form, he has added unusual raised seam details which run all the way from the neck to the hem of the garment, on both the front and back to create a fitted, futuristic silhouette. Featuring a high neck and popper fastenings, the fabric is a soft, poly silk-like chocolate brown material, with abstract lines in gold and silver enhancing the bronzed effect. The inside is fully silk lined in the same shade of brown with the 'Thierry Mugler Couture' label on the inside of the right lapel. The jacket is in excellent vintage condition with no notable stains or flaws. It would best fit an 8-10 UK, or 4-6 US. Many similar illusionary grid detailing designs walked the runway for the collection; we have picked a jacket example here.
