1950s Cotton Abstract Print Dress

We really love the simplicity of the design of this classic 1950s dress. The skirt is almost a full circle with a stiffed calico petticoat and the pattern reminds us of the space invaders game as the dots look like mini spaceships! The pattern is two tone in colour – black and olive green. The dress has a high sweetheart neckline with an interesting crossover detail and a button on the front. The bodice is seamed up the middle and there are two front pockets enhanced with a chevron detail. This dress does up to the side with its original metal zip.

It is in really fabulous condition - the cotton is super fresh with no flaws of any note. It is not labelled but we are confident that this is not a homemade dress due to the quality of the work. It retains its original length which is mid-calf and would fit around a UK 8, US 4. Our model is a UK 8-10 and 5ft 11in (180cm) and this dress was a great fit on her.
