Circa 1960-70's  Silk Furisode Ceremonial Kimono

Peony motif on silk sea wave pattern jacquard fabric. 

Furisode is a type of kimono for formal occasions such as ceremonies or wedding. The sleeves are dropped long. Both side silk. all hand stitched. In Japanese traditional kimono design,  peony represent beauty, sea wave represents infinity.

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. We don't find noticeable damages or faults. 
However this kimono is approximately 50-60 years old. 

We aim to describe the kimono as accurate as possible.

Kimonos are almost rectangle shape so that they fit a lot of types of bodyshape.
Please check the measurements. The torso is UK 10 size body.
