2000s La Perla Black Peekaboo Corset Cami with Appliqué Flowers

This black peekaboo corset style camisole was designed circa 2000-2003 by La Perla, the Italian lingerie super brand founded by couturière and corset-maker Ada Masotti in 1954. It is impeccably crafted from a base of mesh with elaborate ribbon work detailing. The ribbon work forms stripes across the mesh around the top, and swirling loops around the bust area. The décolletage has a V-shape cut-out and lace-up detailing which falls the length of the front. The bust is adorned with appliquéd delicate crepe petals which form fluttering flowers across it. The back is lowered and secured with a hook-and-eye and tonal zip. This top has a built-in underwired, fabric bra for modesty. The thin strap of the bra and coordinating straps of the top mingle at the shoulder meaning there are three thin straps total.

This top is in excellent vintage condition and looks unworn. Labelled an Italian 46; however, this runs very small as it customary for this brand so please check our measurements below. The fabric has some stretch and we think it is better suited for around a UK 10-12 or US 6-8.
