This rare and collectible late Qing dynasty waistcoat has been salvaged from a Museum lot and features a dense pink silk with intricate blue floral embroidery, including a central sun motif, detailed dragons and small mirror motifs throughout.
Designed with side slits, concealed front buttons, and a blue lace hemline, it exemplifies historical craftsmanship and traditional Chinese textile art. Comes unlined and can be worn as a waistcoat or a dress with a bodysuit.
