Description

This vibrant ankle-grazing dress walked the Versace runway as look 32 in Spring 1993 when Gianni was at the height of his fame as creative director. This gown showcases the designer’s skill in working with prints, bright blue and lilac flowers sit against clashing hues of yellow, tangerine and fuchsia. A sleeveless column dress with a square neckline and slit in the rear of the skirt, the brand’s tailoring ability and wearability can be seen in the movement of this gown down the runway - watch the runway video and copy the slicked-back hair and towering heels styling. It is secured at the middle back with a hidden red zip and single hook-and-eye closure. The fabric composition label has been removed but it is a man-made cloth with a soft, sleek feel. This dress is presented in excellent vintage condition with no discernible faults. There is no size label present in the dress and the measurements suggest a best fit for a UK 12 - 14 or US 8 - 10. Our model (5ft 11in / 180cm) is a UK 8-10, this dress was roomy on her.
