1960s Alice Boiget Cream Wool Mod Dress

This elegant couture made 1960s dress is by Alice Boiget of Dijon and is tailored from luxurious, thick cream textured wool. Tonal running-stitch around the collar, hem and down the front creates a trompe-l'œil tunic-like effect. The mid-thigh length and A-line cut are indicative of the era in which it was made and very reminiscent of Pierre Cardin's designs. Fully lined, this classic piece fastens at the rear with a tonal zip and hook-and-eye clasp. A beautifully tailored dress is in excellent vintage condition - no faults if any note. A best fit for up to a UK 10-12 or US 6-8. There was room to spare in this dress for our model who is a UK 6-8 and 5ft 4in (163 cm).
