2010 Runway Christian Dior Floral Silk Chiffon Pleated Dress

Appearing as look 22 on the Spring 2010 runway, this floral silk mini-dress is the Christian Dior brand at its most casual and playful. One of the final shows with the house under the creative direction of John Galliano, his telltale whimsy abounds, seen in the flamboyant bow, flippy pleated skirt and frou-frou detailing. Splashy florals in bold colours sit against a pale pink-lilac silk background. Violet silk lining, trimmed with black lace, is revealed as the wearer walks. Cut to a halterneck style, this pretty dress is secured with a concealed zip at the rear and a fabric-covered button at the back of the neck. Presented in excellent vintage condition, this dress has no flaws of any note. Labelled a French 34 which equates to a UK 6 or a US 2. The fabric is composed of silk. Our model (5ft 4in / 163cm) is a UK 6-8 and this fit her well.
