1970s Gold Label by Tricoville Abstract Print Shirtwaister Dress
Description
This vibrant dress was designed by Tricoville in the 1970s as part of their Gold Label line. Crafted from a lightweight bubble-gum pink crepe playfully patterned with splashy, abstract florals, it makes a statement by itself and can be paired with chunky knits in the colder months. Tailored to a mid-calf length with a full, swirling skirt, the front is adorned with fabric-covered buttons which meet a high ruffled collar at the neckline. The neck is also secured with a thin, coordinating tie. The sleeves are long and wide and finished with a double-layered ruffle cuff to match the collar. There is a soft tie belt in the same fabric at the waist which is elasticateed. The dress is unlined.
In excellent vintage condition with no flaws of any note and is clean and ready to wear. It is labelled a vintage UK 16 or US 12, but please check the measurements below as it will work better on slightly smaller sizes. The fabric has no stretch.
