2006 Armani Collezioni Black Satin Bustier Top and Maxi-Skirt
Description
This graceful black evening ensemble was designed by Giorgio Armani in 2006 for his high-end ready to wear Collezioni line which has since been absorbed back into the mainline runway collection. Drawing on Armani house signatures of polished evening wear silhouettes, the top is tailored from inky black, smooth satin. It has a straight-across bustline, nipped-in waist and flares out towards the bottom hem to accommodate the hips. It is boned at the front and back and is secured with a hidden tonal black zip at the rear. Double spaghetti straps hold it on the shoulders. It is lined in matte black crepe. Tailored from the same fabrics, the skirt has a fit-and-flare shape. It has a high-waist cut which meets the bustier top, and falls snugly over the hips before flaring out towards the floor. It is lined in matte black crepe and fastens at the rear with a hidden tonal zip.
This elegant two-piece is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws of any note. Made from high grade polyester, the size on the label states that this is an Italian size 42, UK 10 or US 6, but please double-check the measurements below as brand sizes can vary. The fabric has no stretch.
