1970s Fenno Sport Green White Cotton Shirtwaister Dress

This mid 1970s printed dress was designed by Fenno Sport who were a Finnish textile and fashion brand that created high quality, boldly coloured graphic prints that were widely renowned during the 1960s and 1970s. Cut from crisp, textured cotton which is calico-like, the fabric is printed with oversized green abstract motifs that resemble stylised clouds or foliage. The structured cotton gives the full-length A-line skirt plenty of shape, while two large patch pockets add both practicality and balance to the design.

The sleeveless bodice has a button-through front fastening with cream plastic buttons. An elasticated waist provides a comfortable fit and is finished with a detachable matching fabric belt featuring a cream oval buckle.

The dress is in excellent vintage condition. The original size and composition labels are no longer present, so please refer to the measurements for the most accurate fit. We recommend it for approximately a UK 12–14 (US 8–10).
