1980s Lolita Lempicka Teal and Black Trim Jacket
Description
This late 1980s or early 1990s teal wool and black jacket is a really early piece from Lolita Lempicka; a striking double breasted design with suedette 'crocodile teeth' trimming the edges of the jacket and the lapels. There are three patch pockets, two at the waist and one handkerchief pocket. The buttons are square shaped and also covered in suedette.
It is in very good vintage condition overall. There is just the slightest wear on one of the button edges where the suedette has worn away on the very edges. We also note the slightest grazing of moth on the edge of the right lapel. This is difficult to see unless inspecting very closely. It is beautifully lined in a turquoise acetate and the composition label reads 60% wool, 20% cashmere and 20% polyamide. Labelled a French 38 this is the equivalent of a UK 10 or US 6. Runs true to size but can also be worn by sizes smaller for a looser fit.
