1980s Victor Edelstein Couture Navy Silk Dress

This stylish and elegant knee length dress was designed by British couture designer Victor Edelstein. Edelstein founded his own haute couture fashion house in the late 1970’s after designing for Christian Dior. Princess Diana was one of his most famous clients. The dress has full length sleeves with covered buttons to fasten at the cuff and a centre front zip fastening which is cleverly hidden by the wrap around/overlap skirt and pleated section of the bodice. The construction of this piece is truly stunning and includes boning in the bodice - in excellent condition. Would best suit US size 6, UK size 10.
