2010s Alberta Ferretti Aubergine Silk Chiffon and Lace Halterneck Dress

Alberta Ferretti is an Italian designer celebrated for her ethereal, romantic aesthetic, defined by flowing silhouettes, delicate fabrics, and a sense of femininity. This elegant evening gown is tailored from lightweight silk-chiffon in a beautiful, rich aubergine shade. It has a halter-neck top with thick straps crafted from sheer silk-chiffon with rolled edges. Inside, the dress is corseted around the torso providing support and structure. The dress has a gathered bust, with a layer of fabric - gathered and pinned elegantly - falling from here and cascading down around the body. This fabric layer parts at the front, with the side of each panel prettily trimmed with tonal purple lace for a subtle touch of texture and dimension. Underneath sits a column shaped skirt tailored from the same silk-chiffon. The dress is lined with tonal purple silk-satin. It fastens at the centre of the back with a hidden tonal zip.

Presented in excellent vintage condition with no issues. It is made from 100% Silk. The label states a size Italian 40 and we have provided measurements below. Our model's sizes are: Bust: 34" (87cm), Waist 24" (61cm), Hips: 34.5" (88cm), 5' 7" (170cm) and she's a size UK 6, US 2. The dress fit her well.
