John Galliano for Dior Autumn/Winter 07/08 Crystal Drop Earrings

Extremely large gunmetal and purple crystal drop statement earrings by Christian Dior from the Autumn/Winter 07/08 campaign. These are the exact earrings worn on the runway by Lily Cole and without question were some of the most flamboyant ever created for the House's ready to wear collections whilst John Galliano was at the creative helm. They are far more like the dazzling and complex jewellery creations produced for the haute couture collections and had an original price tag in excess of $3000. These are clip-on earrings with a large foil-backed centre crystal surrounded by an array of different brilliant cut crystals with a small articulated drop. Despite their size these are quite comfortable to wear. Fully marked Dior to the rear under the clip setting. These will come packaged in the original Dior dust bag and branded box. In excellent vintage condition with no faults to mention. These are for the serious collector and a worthy acquisition for a museum.
