1960s Sandra Sage Blue Pink Abstract Floral Linen Dress

This late 1960s dress was designed by Sandra Sage for The Sports Shop in Florida. Labelled "An original Sandra Sage creation", it reflects the bold prints and clean, easy silhouettes that defined American resort and leisurewear during the period.

Cut from substantial linen, the dress has a classic shift silhouette with a boat neckline, a nipped-in waist and a flattering V-shaped back. The skirt falls to ankle length, creating an elegant, streamlined profile. The striking oversized floral print in shades of blue is offset by bold horizontal bands of fuchsia pink and forest green. The dress fastens at the back with a concealed white zip and hook-and-eye fastening and is fully lined in white man-made crepe for comfort and structure.

It is in excellent vintage condition and presents beautifully, with a remarkably fresh appearance that suggests it has seen very little wear. There are no size or composition labels and based on the proportions, we recommend it for approximately a UK 8 (US 4) with a slightly fuller bust.
