1960s Florenza Cognac Coat of Arms Brooch
Description
Founded in the 1940s, Florenza is a highly collectable jewellery brand that produced elaborate, stylised costume jewellery until 1981. This brooch has a huge faux topaz central glass stone. It is surrounded by four highly detailed coats of arms - formed from scythes and winged birds - with organic gold-toned surfaces, detailed with smaller brown-hued crystals. The back has a long C-clasp.
This brooch is in good vintage condition and presents very well due to its impressive size. We found a tiny surface scratch in the amber glass and a very small piece of metal has broken away on one of the surrounding coat of arms - impossible to spot when worn. This piece is not signed, however it is a documented Florenza design.
