Description

This late 1960s to early 1970s maxi dress is tailored from a vibrant turquoise linen and silk mix cloth and cut to a graceful empire-line silhouette. It has wide shoulder straps and a curved neckline, with a small V-shaped cut-out at the centre of the bust. The waist is nipped in and crowned by a large rose in coordinating fabric with two leaves and white stamens. The skirt falls with an A-line cut to the ankle. This dress is unlined and fastens at the back with a hidden tonal zip and hook-and-eye clasp.

In good vintage condition with the following to note; a small thumb-nail sized mark to the front of the dress which you can see in the close up shot and a pin-head sized hole which has been darned. They are not obvious but we have priced gently to reflect this. No labels remain in the dress which has been nicely made. Please double-check our measurements below as the fabric has no stretch. We believe this would best fit a size UK 8, US 4 with a small waist.
