1964 Christian Dior Gold Mesh Knotted Brooch with Crystals
Description
This brooch was designed for Christian Dior in 1964 and produced by the famous Henkel & Grosse factory who had a long association with jewellery making for the house of Dior. The brooch is crafted from a ribbon of gold-toned metal mesh detailed with debossed diamond shapes. The ends of the articulated metal ribbon are adorned with a strip of crystals and one large emerald-cut crystal. It is finished with a long bar which closes with a C-clasp, and a branded and dated plaque. The brooch presents very well, is all original, and in good to very good vintage condition with gentle wear noted commensurate with age.
